Like Halloween, this event gives our students the opportunity to prepare for their family Thanksgiving events, including sampling new foods, going through a buffet line, and eating with a large group! It’s another really special day in our school program and we’d love to have you there.
Schedule:
7:30am-8:45am: Receiving food from staff, planning for reheating/keeping items warm
9:00-10am: Turkey Trot Stations or buffet set-up (volunteers will be split into two groups)
10:00am-11:00am: Serving Food to Students
11:00am-12:00pm: Clean-up
For anyone we don’t have an active CORI on file, forms and license copies need to be collected by Thursday, November 17 to allow for processing time.
We will be hosting a 30-minute volunteer training call on Monday, November 21 (12pm) for anyone who is signed up to participate.
Reach out to Kelley Borer-Miller, Director of Development, at kborer-miller@crossroadscontinuum.org to sign-up!
